Cape Code Dentist

Dr. Shemanyuk

Dr. Shemanyuk has been practicing general and family dentistry since 1996 at which time she graduated with her first DMD degree from State Medical University in Kiev, Ukraine.  She went on to complete a specialty program in therapeutic dentistry that covered restorative dentistry and endodontics. After gaining experience in a state dental clinic she opened her first practice in Kiev. In 2013 she earned her second DMD degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston. Dr. Shemanyuk has been serving patients at private practices throughout New England and the Greater Boston area including the MIT Dental Clinic in Cambridge, MA.

She is also affiliated with the American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology, and is a fellow of the International Dental Implant Association.

Dr. Shemanyuk’s top priority is to stay connected with the most current trends which she does through continuing education classes throughout the year having completed 100 hours annually and to provide her patients with the most expert and individualized care that they deserve.  She believes in biosafe and holistic dentistry methods, and knows full well that she is not only caring for her patient’s oral health in their dental treatment, but also for their overall health as the oral cavity is not a separate part of the body. Our overall health is a direct result of our oral health, which many people tend not to know. For her, dentistry is more than just a profession – helping people has always been her guiding principle.

A Note from Dr. Olga

“Welcome! Besides dentistry, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, gardening, cooking, and traveling. As I explored Cape Cod for the first time, I fell in love with the area and its people. I am excited to serve this community, and especially look forward to meeting each of you personally.  I hope to continue a lasting relationship, providing you and your families with a lifetime of good oral health.”

Marie

Marie moved from Northampton, MA to Cape Cod in the fall of 2016.  Having worked in a large insurance company for twenty years and then managing a large dental office for ten years, sitting at home proved just not to be enough for her.  After enjoying some time being retired, Marie decided she needed to get out more and meet some new people. Having joined our office and working as a part of our front desk administration team has allowed her to do just that and she truly enjoys helping patients.  Her favorite pastimes  include gardening, reading and baking and long walks on the beautiful beaches that surround us.

She's a member of The Friday Club.
